North Korea has suspended South Korean access to a joint industrial zone - the latest move in the ongoing conflict with Washington and Seoul. Pyongyang also says it will restart a nuclear reactor to beef up its arsenal - after Washington moved its military closer to the Korean peninsula. The UN says the deadlock has gone too far. North Korea earlier claimed its missile units are combat-ready - and warned of a possible pre-emptive strike on the U.S. and Seoul.
