Global Protest Against Monsanto

In more than 400 cities protestors call for a ban on GMO food

Activists have announced a global protest against Monsanto's reach into the global food security set for May 25th. Protests are scheduled to take place in more than 36 countries--including the United States. All of this following Congress' passage of the so-called Monsanto Protection Act -an amendment granting the bio-tech giant legal immunity in the U.S.
The Netherlands banned gmo's bcause pigglets fed soybeans from Argentinian gmo farms died. The gmo's are modified to resist the pesticides used to kill pests and unwanted plants. (monsanto website) but the gmo's "absorb" the pesticides and are a cocktail of poisons which kills frogs and birds. And ppl in the area of these farms suffer from leukemia, infertility, spontaneous abortion, birth defects (presstv monsanto in Argentina)
