NSA whistleblower William Binney calls Edward Snowden's security leaks 'a public service'





National Security Agency whistleblower William Binney, former technical director at the agency, returns to "Viewpoint" to react to the latest news regarding Edward Snowden. Snowden has gone on the record to admit that he is the source of leaks revealing top-secret U.S. government surveillance programs. An article detailing the collection of phone data from Verizon customers first appeared in The Guardian, and the next day, the Washington Post published PowerPoint slides related to PRISM, a covert national data collection program.
