UK Government keeping the Unemployment figures down with Zero-hour Contracts

A look at the Growing scandal in the UK of zero-hour employment contracts Recorded from Channel 4 News, 05 August 2013.
I could see how a selfish employer could abuse these contracts ... but people don't have a choice at the moment. There are not lots of jobs about.
If there is growth in the economy, competition should mean that fewer people will need to take jobs on these terms.
Government needs to let the market operate and sort things out on this one. the new form of UK Slavery has arrived

  1. Something's fishy, because they're starting to outlaw unpaid internships in the US. And everything east usually goes against the weather and flows west. Seems like more bullshit to weed out the undesirables, crowd-riling or plain old diversion. Funny how all governments are being exposed at once as well. A little too orchestrated, wouldn't you say?
