Gary Johnson ~ Marijuana Is Much, Much Safer Than Alcohol

Alcohol is the gateway to drug, not marijuana. It is a no brainer: don't vote the idiots into office. Alcohol numbs brains and kills brain cells so that is why it is legal. Cannabis makes people think and open their minds, that's why it is illegal. Cannabis, LSD, mescaline and all those mind expanders are schedule 1 for a reason. It scared the crap out of the establishment in the sixties. The bottom line here is MONEY! If the states start legalizing Marijuana, it means less money for police departments who depend on the income from arresting people and fining them for having it. So of course your going to have the Anti-Pot people making false statements like "It's a gateway drug". They know it's not, they just want the money to keep flowing in from the arrests. Less money means Cuts to all local law enforcement.

Gary Johnson Takes On Illegal Immigration on Red Eye: Cream Of The Crop When It Comes To Workers

Former New Mexico governor and libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson took on StreetCarnage.com writer Gavin McInnes over illegal immigration on Friday night's Red Eye, with Johnson arguing that those crossing the U.S.-Mexico border were hard workers who were more likely to obey the law. "We're getting the cream of the crop when it comes to workers from Mexico," Johnson said. "And I am speaking having been a border state governor. These are hard-working individuals, that are just in pursuit of the American dream."

McInnes, who immigrated to the United States legally, mimed disbelief. "The cream of the crop, come on! The drunk driving charges! We've got all these hidden charges about murder, pedophilia, infidelity—they can't even hold a family together."

"These things do happen, but relative to the citizens of the United States population?" Johnson said. "Much less. Crime, much less than citizens of the United States...They're walking on eggshells."

At this point, McInnes feigned a heart attack. "Maybe in South Chicago or Detroit."

"He's right about the statistics," host Greg Gutfeld said. "Because they're so scared of being deported, they actually don't commit crimes."

"They're not scared of being deported," McGinnes said. "They go to City Hall with signs saying, 'This is BS! I don't care if you know I'm an illegal! I'm shameless.'"

"They can't fit all that on one sign," said Bill Schulz.

"I think attrition is the key," McInnes said later in the segment. "You just have to make it a little more uncomfortable to employ illegals, and they go home with their tail between their legs in droves."

"And if you lay this on the employers, it becomes grossly unfair because for the most part they're presenting false documentation," Johnson rebutted. "They end up paying taxes that they never lay claim to."

Gary Johnson on Boston bombing, Guantanamo Bay and Syria

Gov. Gary Johnson on Boston bombing, Guantanamo Bay and Syria

As a manhunt ensued to find those though responsible for the attack in Boston two weeks ago, police put the city on lockdown. Even though the authorities apprehended the alleged bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev alive, not everyone has seen his capture and the subsequent treatment he's received as a triumph of the US justice system. Former US Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) along with many civil libertarians see the events in Boston more as something to worry about than a win. Former New Mexico governor and 2012 libertarian candidate for US president Gary Johnson joins RT's Meghan Lopez to discuss whether Americans are trading away their safety for security in the wake of Boston, and weighs in on the Guantanamo Bay hunger strike and reports of a chemical weapon program in Syria.

John Stossel & Gary Johnson - Libertarians And Republicans

Libertarians need to FLOOD the Republican Party. think about it... Ron and Rand Paul are obviously Libertarians but they ran ans Republicans. VERY FEW would have EVER heard of them had they never ran as Republicans. How many, outside of Libertarians, have ever heard of Michael Badnarik or Gary Johnson???

Big government says there will be no choice between big government and small government. This tells me the choice is between big government and self government. I have chosen self government.
