Italian filmmaker and conspiracy theorist Massimo Mazzucco discussed his work researching the 9-11 attacks, as well as alternative cures for cancer, including the work of Dr. Tullio Simoncini who claims to cure cancer with baking soda. While Simoncini has been persecuted and discredited for his treatments, Mazzucco found evidence that they have worked on numerous patients, who have made astonishing recoveries. His approach is based on the idea that cancer is caused by the fungus candida, when it grows out of control. The fungus is killed by sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), which can be applied directly onto tumors via a catheter, Mazzucco explained.

Mazzucco suggested that a number of alternative cancer treatments can be successful, depending on what stage the cancer is. In addition to Simoncini, other treatments profiled in his documentary include Gerson therapy, Rene Caisse's herbal formula, the Hoxsey cure, and shark cartilage. Chemotherapy, he suggested, actually has carcinogenic properties, while marijuana has shown potential to fight cancer.

While he doesn't propose a complete explanation for what happened during the 9-11 attacks, he has gathered evidence to show that the official version of the events is false. For instance, there are no airport security images of the hijackers, yet a number of their photos and ID papers were recovered intact after the plane crashes. He also cited the account of a janitor named William Rodriguez who said he heard an explosion before the plane hit the tower, and how the 9-11 Commission discarded his testimony. The common denominator in various conspiracies is that the "power elite" want to control the masses through the manipulation of information, he added.

Historian and President of Washington Grove Institute, a think tank in Washington D.C, Webster Tarpley, discussed the conspiratorial mindset, and shared his intriguing analysis of current geopolitical and historical situations. More and more people are turning toward conspiracies because the "official story" behind such events as 9-11 and the JFK assassination are unbelievable or fantastic, he said. Tarpley doesn't consider himself a conspiracy theorist, but a seeker of truth, though he admitted that the uncovering of facts in many instances often does point to conspiracies. We live in an oligarchy run by financiers, and they often do conspire together for shared goals, he noted, adding that they compose a shadow government that secretly rules the US, intersecting with people at the State Dept., the CIA, and perhaps the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.

Tarpley spoke about his forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by the Churchill gang."

Tarpley also commented on current situations in France, China, and Russia, as well as Syria and Libya, two countries that he visited during recent turmoils. America can get out of its economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

Dustin Hoffman Tells Piers Morgan 'God Bless You For What You are Saying About Gun Control'

2/24/13 - Dustin Hoffman could be appearing on Piers Morgan Tonight in the near future. Piers Morgan caught up with the legendary actor (and recent first-time director) on the red carpet for the Academy Awards, and the two talked about more than just Hollywood. Hoffman revealed that he's a big fan of Morgan's, saying he doesn't often get "starstruck" but felt "extraordinary" to be standing next to the CNN host. At the tail end of a short conversation about the Oscars and Hoffman's new film Quartet, Hoffman told Morgan "God bless you for what you're saying about gun control," indicating that he's been watching Morgan's relentless advocacy since December's Newtown shooting. Morgan invited Hoffman to come discuss the issue with him on his CNN show, adding that up until now Hoffman has been "elusive." We'll see if Hoffman remains an unattainable guest or if he pops up on CNN soon to share more of his views about guns.
