Mystery, Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the earth is represented by the Vatican city especially during the period of the inquisition.

Mystery - The city which sits on 7 hills can only be the Vatican city in Rome and it had ruled the kings of Europe for over a millennium.
Babylon the Great - The Vatican had replaced God with the Pope and had prevented Christians from reading the bible and understand the word of God. This is just like King Nebuchednazzer destroying the temple of God in Jerusalem. Many saints and prophets of our Lord Jesus Christis were martyred.
Mother of Harlots - All tithes, love offerings and gifts are the properties of God and they are meant to be for the services of the full time workers, the needs for His numerous ministries world wide, the helping and feeding of the poor, needy, destitute, orphans, widows and also refugees. They must not be hoarded. Investing in properties, artifacts, businesses, shares and deposits in banks is an abomination to the Lord.
