How Chinese Hackers Spy on You
Megan Hughes reports on Chinese hackers and efforts to prevent the security breaches. Something else to keep in mind is that cyber attacks need not be organized by a central agency. There are many computer experts out there who free lance and operate independently for patriotism or because they want to help a cause. For instance it has been suggested that the recent attacks on Google in China were not sponsored by the state but by such free agents.. who might be ex police etc or almost anybody with a computer and some skill. One of the issues with America's digital infrastructure is that it lags behind our Asian counterparts. You can have all the military grade software in the world, but if Verizon is in control, you are out of luck 'cause those are Big Tent Big Top Clown Acts.
