LINDA MOULTON HOWE ~ NSA Surveillance - Coast to Coast Am June 27 2013

Surveillance, Crazy Ants, CO2, & Unexplained Booms - June 27 2013 - Coast to Coast Am - Linda M Howe

C2CAM Date: 06-27-13

George Noory interviews John Hogue & Linda Moulton Howe.

About the show:

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed the NSA's dragnet collection of phone and computer records, concern over the Crazy Ant invasion, the increase of CO2 emissions and changes in the jet stream, and the continuing unexplained boom phenomenon. In her first report, she spoke with Patrick Toomey of the ACLU, which is preparing a lawsuit against various intelligence agency defendants. "It's a shame that the United States which fashions itself and believes itself to be really a pillar of liberty for the whole world, that we seem to be the first society exercising this ability to capture and compile and store the records of every communication or phone call that Americans make," Toomey lamented. He added that even if we put our faith in our current government, there is risk that eventually citizens' information will be used in ways that are inconsistent with democratic values and government accountability. More here.

The "crazy ant," so named because it doesn't travel in straight lines, has spread from Texas to Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida challenging pest removal companies, authorities and homeowners who have literally been overrun in some cases. The ants forage together in the millions and devour so many insects that bird populations are being driven elsewhere to look for food. She interviewed entomologist Prof. Robert Puckett who said the density of the ants can become overwhelming. "I've seen infestations where there were loads and loads of ants crawling around inside the house...I've literally seen trash bags full of ants," he remarked. The crazy ants which are strangely attracted to electrical wiring and components (and have caused much damage), are not easily eradicated, and states may have to develop quarantine procedures, said Puckett. Further info.

In her third report, Linda detailed how CO2 emissions jumped 1.4% in 2012 alone, largely from Chinese industries. Now the U.K.'s University of Sheffield reports new data that "unusual changes in the jet stream circulation caused exceptional surface melt of the Greenland Ice Sheet in summer 2012 - a record for at least the last 50 years." Further, updated computer models project our planet is likely to warm by 6.5 to 9.5 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of the century - doubling the original projections made just ten years ago. She interviewed Prof. Edward Hanna with the Univ. of Sheffield, who said because of these conditions, we'll see an increase in extreme weather. More.

Updating her investigation into the unexplained boom phenomenon, she talked with John Nyberg, a retired USAF Captain, who heard a loud explosive sound on June 10th and again on June 21st in Jamestown, North Dakota. According to the anonymous geophysicist she's been communicating with for the past couple of months, Earth core changes are the cause of the mysterious booms, light flashes and even increasing sinkholes since 2011. She spoke with Stanford University geophysicist Arianna Gleason, who explained what is known about the still-mysterious Earth's inner cores. Further info.
Prophecy Update

First hour guest, prophecy expert John Hogue shared an update on his predictions. Back in April, he noted that 2013 was the 'Year of the Snake,' and the Obama administration would face major scandals, and now we're seeing that come to pass with the NSA spying revelations coming out. Looking toward 2016, he foresees the Republicans taking back the White House, with possibly Jeb Bush making a run. In terms of the environment, he cited an "invisible" supervolcano in the Arctic as pumping massive amounts of methane into the environment, along with the effects of increased fracking, which will lead to a cataclysmic "climate cascade" by 2017-18.

George Noory interviews Linda Moulton Howe and Dr. Peter Breggin ~ Coast to Coast Am - 05-30-13

MERS, Sinkholes, & Crop Circles - May 30 2013 - Coast to Coast Am - C2CAM Date: 05-30-13

George Noory interviews Linda Moulton Howe and Dr. Peter Breggin.

About this show:

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed a new coronavirus called MERS, a link between the boom mystery, increasing frequency of sinkholes, and earth changes, as well as updates on crop circles, and the dire honey bee situation. Her first report looked at MERS - Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome -- a virus that was first observed in Saudi Arabia and has spread to France, Tunisia, Germany, Jordan, Qatar and the United Kingdom, in some cases through human to human contact. As of May 21st, the World Health Organization has confirmed 44 cases and 22 deaths -- an alarming 50% mortality rate. The illness appears similar to SARS, as both attack the lungs, and kill by pneumonia and kidney failure. Linda spoke with microbiologist Dr. Susan Baker who noted that MERS is similar to a virus found in bats, and may have spread to humans from them or an intermediate host. There were aggressive health measures to curb the spread of SARS during its outbreak in 2003, but as of yet this kind of strategy has not been adopted with MERS. More here.

In Lakeport, California, on May 6, 2013, Robin and Scott Spivey, a former building inspector, were stunned after their home dropped 10 feet below the street. Eight other homes in the area have also sunk, while ten other homeowners have been given "notice of imminent evacuation" because the unexplained ground sinking jeopardizes them as well. She interviewed Kevin Ingram and Anthony Farrington, officials with Lake County, and they reported that the problem originated from at least 25 feet down into the ground. According to an engineer who has been in touch with Linda, a geophysicist he worked with on military contracts for the US Air Force told him that "since 2011, many geologists have noticed almost a 1000% increase in soil liquefaction," which might explain the more frequent sinkholes. The geophysicist also said that he and his colleagues "believe something is going on in the inner core of the Earth. They don't know if it's a magnetic pole change; [or] restructuring of minerals within the soil down to the mantle and core," and could be related to the mysterious boom sounds heard around the country. Further info.

The first 2013 crop formation reported in the world came in 4-foot-tall grass growing for hay on a farm in Gray, Tennessee, first seen on May 13th, about 21 miles north of Johnson City. Linda spoke with investigator Roger Sugden who found it be anomalous in the way the tall grass was intricately placed down and there was no disturbance of any kind in the soil and field around the unusual pattern. She also interviewed land owner Connie Osborne, who said that witnesses reported seeing a hovering blue light in the area of the crop formation 10 days before the pattern appeared. Another resident of Gray, TN, Robin Wheelock, revealed that when she was standing in the grass formation, mysterious orbs could be seen on video footage recorded of her. More.

In her last report, Linda delved into honey bee deaths in the Fall/Winter of 2012/2013, in which at least one-third of U.S. colonies died out. Entomologist Dennis vanEngelstorp at the University of Maryland has warned that "we're getting closer and closer to the point where we don't have enough bees in this country to meet pollination demands." Tom Theobald, owner of Niwot Honey Farm in Colorado, outlined the seriousness of the problem, calling it an environmental disaster. He pointed to soil contaminants such as Clothianidin (a pesticide) as one of the causes, and noted that it will take years for it to be purged out of the soil. Further info.

Psychology of Arguments

First hour guest, Dr. Peter Breggin reacted to a report that shouting helps you win arguments. The study drew conclusions from the Twitter postings of sports commentators, but this data isn't really reflective of the dynamics in actual interactions and conversation, he remarked. What can happen in an argument if you overwhelm the other person is that they may stop listening, act cowed, or leave the room, "but you haven't convinced them at all of anything," he said. The kind of communication in which you change minds is when you reach out to the other person and find some common ground, and try to influence them with reason and thoughtfulness, Breggin continued.

Linda Moulton Howe ~ Black Holes, Drones and Energy

Date: 06-30-11
Host: George Noory
Guests: Linda Moulton Howe

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed matter-eating black holes & growing galaxies, sightings of dragonfly-shaped drones and ET contacts in Alabama, and cold fusion as an energy solution for the future. In her first report, she interviewed Prof. of Astrophysics Mitchell Begelman who discussed new findings that suggest there were around 30 million super-massive black holes present in the early days of the universe. The research also indicates that every galaxy has a black hole at its center, and they play a role in the evolution of the cosmos. "The Milky Way galaxy has a black hole...with a mass about 4 million times the mass of the sun," he noted. More here.

In a two-segment interview, Linda spoke with "Ted Connors," a security specialist for a Homeland Security subcontractor in Montgomery, Alabama. In 2007, he'd witnessed a dragonfly-shaped drone similar to what was seen around that time in California (see photos below). Then in October 2010, he had another strange encounter in the same geographic location as the sighting. Connors described a telepathic encounter where he saw in his mind a text saying "WE ARE OF OLTISSIS. THE 23RD PLANET IN OUR SYSTEM," as well as further text as to why these beings were visiting and using the drones. Later, he found references to Oltissis in a book he checked out from the library called Ancient Greek Gods and Lore Revisited by Fredrico Ionnides. Curiously, after this, he said he was vistited by government agents who asked him to turn in the book to them. For more, see Part 1 and Part 2 of her report.

Linda also interviewed Prof. of Electrical Engineering Peter Haglestein about cold fusion. While the groundbreaking research of scientists Fleischmann and Pons into cold fusion as an energy source wasn't able to replicated in the past, there has recently been a resurgence of interest. Now, from Italy to Japan to the United States, scientists are reporting cold fusion breakthroughs and on June 11 - 12, 2011, MIT hosted a Cold Fusion Colloquium, announcing some of the promising new evidence.

Unusual Animal Deaths and Disappearances ~ Linda Moulton Howe

Unusual Animal Deaths and Disappearances

Linda Moulton Howe, reporter and editor for Earthfiles, presented an update on unusual animal deaths and disappearances. Specifically, Linda spoke about an unusual case in Pondera County, Montana where a mutilated cow appears to have been dropped from the sky.

According to Linda, the dead cow's udder had been excised as well as the rectal/vaginal region. The animal's left eyeball and ear, jaw flesh and tongue had also been removed. There were no signs of predatory attack, she explained, noting that traces of blood and animal tracks (even from the mutilated cow) were also conspicuously absent in the vicinity. Linda said the cow's condition was typical of animal mutilations worldwide, and suggested that these unfortunate animals are being used by a 'non-human intelligence' for genetic research or food.

The evidence seems to indicate that the animal fell from a considerable height, as its body hit the ground with enough force to bounce to its final resting place several feet away, Linda said. She speculated that an advanced beam technology was used to pick up the Pondera County cow.

Seismic Activity ~ Linda Moulton Howe

Seismic Activity, Mummies, & Oddities

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe shared reports on Yellowstone seismic activity, Honey bee deaths, the invasion of Lionfish and its effect on the marine eco-system, as well as Celtic looking mummies buried in China. Regarding the swarm of small earthquakes felt around Yellowstone in the last few weeks, Linda interviewed Jacob Lowenstern who is a vulcanologist in charge of monitoring the volcanic activity in and around the area. He said that, while this increase in seismic activity may sound worrisome, it is actually a good sign because they help to relieve the pressure that has been increasing beneath the caldera. More here.

Providing an update on the ongoing crisis surrounding mysterious bee deaths, Linda played an interview with Jerry Hayes of the Florida Department of Agriculture. Hayes detailed how the California almond industry has been particularly hard hit by the decreasing bee population, as farmers are now paying nearly double the price when importing bees to pollinate their crops. Meanwhile, beekeepers faced with crippling losses are beginning to leave the profession. "If you are a small business person and you lose 30% of your business every year, that's not a good business model," Hayes mused. View the full Earthfiles report.

On the other end of the spectrum, Linda reported on the epidemic of Lionfish invading the waters of Florida, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. The voracious fish eats anything it can swallow and lays an astonishing 30,000 eggs every 4 to 7 days. She shared an interview with Lad Atkin, special projects director of the Reef Environmental Education Foundation. Atkin noted that the Lionfish is no small concern for the island communities, since it is not just feasting on a few types of fish but a vast selection of "ecologically, economically and recreationally important marine species." More info.

In her final report of the evening, Linda discussed Caucasian mummies found in China which will be exhibited at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California later this year. She spoke with Victor Mair, a professor of Chinese Literature and Language, who stumbled upon the mummies inside of a museum in China and originally believed they were a hoax. What makes the mummies particularly mysterious is that they are fair skinned, fair haired, and, in some cases, are found adorned in plaids and tartans, leading to the misconception that they are Celtic. Mair explained that DNA testing has shown the ancestry of the mummies is from Europe on the male side and China on the female side. More on the story, including images of the mummies, can be found at Earthfiles.com.
