When Kim Jong Il was succeeded by his son in December 2011 any hopes of an improvement in relations between North Korea and the US were soon dashed. The announcement of plans to reopen the Yongbyon nuclear complex is just the latest move in an escalation of aggressive actions by both Washington and Pyonyang over recent months. At the weekend North Korea announced it was entering a 'state of war' with the South. Earlier in the month Pyonyang affirmed it is right to launch a 'pre-emptive nuclear strike' on the US.

Chechnya, a predominantly Muslim region located on the northern slopes of the Caucasus mountain range, is one of 21 republics that make up the Russian Federation. When the Soviet Union began to collapse in 1991 it tried to break away from Russia by declaring independence.
Years of fighting with Russian forces ensued, eventually driving the rebels underground. Chechen rebels staged increasingly bloody suicide bombings and hostage-taking raids around Russia. While the situation in Chechnya has improved in recent years, sporadic attacks continue. Moscow and Washington say the rebels have links to Islamic terror groups such as al-Qaeda and have fought Western forces in Afghanistan and elsewhere.

4/24/13 - The Blaze radio host Glenn Beck revealed more details of the alleged security threat posed by a Saudi Arabian national detained by authorities in the immediate wake of the attack on the Boston Marathon last week. Beck revealed that the Saudi had an event file, was deemed by authorities to be "armed and dangerous," and may have been flagged on the "no fly" list. Beck challenged members of President Barack Obama's administration to reveal to the public what they know about the Saudi and stave off an brewing inter-agency feud over which department is incorrect about the Saudi's relevance to the investigation into the Boston attack. An extensive post on The Blaze contains the details of what the government knew about Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi Arabian national who was detained as a "person of interest" after the attack on the Boston Marathon last Monday. Alharbi was reportedly set to be deported under "security and related grounds" after being suspected of having engaged in "terrorist activities" before that deportation order was revoked. Beck had previously stressed that Alharbi's "212, 3B" status indicating a high threat level is difficult to apply to an individual and cannot be applied without showing extensive reasoning. "New info provided to The Blaze reveals Alharbi's file was altered on the evening of April 17 to disassociate him from the initial charges." "Since [Tuesday], according to the various agencies investigating the bombing, Alharbi has gone from person of interest, to material witness, to witness, to victim," Beck said. He noted that the DHS accused the FBI of rushing to judgment in their decision to detain Alharbi in the wake of the attack on Boston. Beck said that an official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) informed The Blaze that they have mistaken this Alharbi with another Alharbi. However, Beck said, the DHS told The Blaze that they did not mistake anyone's identity and the FBI had simply misjudged the threat posed by Alharbi. "I'm wondering if we've ever learned anything at all from 9/11." Beck asked. "Who takes the blame for this one in the end? I'm sure it's not the White House." He said a brewing inter-agency feud over the Alharbi detention issue will soon become an issue of major importance for the Obama administration as agency officials seek to shield their departments from blame.

Glenn Beck- Big Sis Lied: New Info On Saudi National In Boston Attacks Confirms Cover Up.

Glenn Beck drops the hammer on Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano...Glenn gives actual evidence from The Blaze that she- and possibly others in the Obama administration- are involved in a cover up related to the Boston Marathon Terrorist Attacks.
Napolitano admitted Tuesday that a Saudi national once identified as a "person of interest" in the Boston Marathon bombings was put on a terror watchlist after the attack.
Last week, she refused to answer any questions about the Saudi, calling South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan's inquiry "so full of misstatements and misapprehension that it's just not worthy of an answer."
But today, speaking at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on immigration reform, Napolitano responded to a question posed by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).
"Before the [Tsarnaev] brothers became the focus of the investigation, authorities questioned a Saudi student who reportedly was on a terror watchlist," Grassley said. "I sent a letter to you this morning asking for answers to questions about the bombers and how they interacted with your agency, I trust you will promptly respond..."
"With regard to the Saudi student, was he on a watchlist, and if so, how did he obtain a student visa?" Grassley asked.
Napolitano firmly responded: "He was not on a watchlist. What happened is — this student was, really when you back it out, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was never a subject. He was never even really a person of interest. Because he was being interviewed, he was at that point put on a watchlist, and then when it was quickly determined he had nothing to do with the bombing, the watch listing status was removed."
