July 9, 2013 - Glenn Beck today couldn't help but laugh at rapper Mos Def (now Yasiin Bey) for subjecting himself to force-feeding in order to show his solidarity for the people subjected to similar punishment in Guantanamo Bay. Beck mocked the whole idea of sympathizing with people who are being given food in order to remain alive, and especially with prisoners in Gitmo. Beck also took some time to hit Obama on this issue, calling him a "ridiculous piece of garbage."

One of Beck's co-hosts mocked people criticizing force-feeding, saying, "What kind of nation are we, where we would make people have nutrition?! Where we would feed them to prevent them from starving to death!" Beck noted that the force-feeding is in response to prisoner hunger strikes, and it's being condemned by human rights groups.

Beck admitted he has no problem with shooting the prisoners or just letting them starve on their own, but called out President Obama for hedging on this issue, calling him "such a ridiculous piece of garbage at times." He said that a hunger strike will not make Americans more sympathetic and that it doesn't really matter much if they starve.

"It's not a humane way to kill someone, but we're not killing them. They are. If they want to go see their sweet, sweet Allah, I'm happy to introduce the two."

While espousing the virtue of "preparation" in relation to Food Insurance, Beck declared, seemingly out of nowhere, "that's why Egypt failed and America won. That's why revolutions usually fail."

As Beck explained, "you have a bunch of people who are willing to smoke dope, live out in a park and have sex in a tent with everybody they meet." He contrasted those types of revolutionaries with the Founding Fathers, who were willing to "sit in a room for years and study and try to figure out: 'What does freedom mean and how do we make people free?'"

Beck revealed that the Saudi had an event file, was deemed by authorities to be "armed and dangerous," and may have been flagged on the "no fly" list. Beck challenged members of President Barack Obama's administration to reveal to the public what they know about the Saudi and stave off an brewing inter-agency feud over which department is incorrect about the Saudi's relevance to the investigation into the Boston attack. An extensive post on The Blaze contains the details of what the government knew about Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi Arabian national who was detained as a "person of interest" after the attack on the Boston Marathon last Monday. Alharbi was reportedly set to be deported under "security and related grounds" after being suspected of having engaged in "terrorist activities" before that deportation order was revoked. Beck had previously stressed that Alharbi's "212, 3B" status indicating a high threat level is difficult to apply to an individual and cannot be applied without showing extensive reasoning. "The Blaze received word that the government may not deport the Saudi national," writes Erica Ritz. "New info provided to The Blaze reveals Alharbi's file was altered on the evening of April 17 to disassociate him from the initial charges." "Since [Tuesday], according to the various agencies investigating the bombing, Alharbi has gone from person of interest, to material witness, to witness, to victim," Beck said. He noted that the DHS accused the FBI of rushing to judgment in their decision to detain Alharbi in the wake of the attack on Boston. Beck said that an official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) informed The Blaze that they have mistaken this Alharbi with another Alharbi. However, Beck said, the DHS told The Blaze that they did not mistake anyone's identity and the FBI had simply misjudged the threat posed by Alharbi. "I'm wondering if we've ever learned anything at all from 9/11." Beck asked. "Who takes the blame for this one in the end? I'm sure it's not the White House." "With regard to the Saudi student, was he on a watchlist, and if so, how did he obtain a student visa?" Grassley asked.

Napolitano firmly responded: "He was not on a watchlist. What happened is — this student was, really when you back it out, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was never a subject. He was never even really a person of interest. Because he was being interviewed, he was at that point put on a watchlist, and then when it was quickly determined he had nothing to do with the bombing, the watch listing status was removed."

Hours after it was debunked, Glenn Beck continued to beat the drum of a conspiracy theory that the Obama administration is deporting a Saudi national who was behind the tragic bombings at the Boston marathon.

The conspiracy theory arose when Steve Emerson, a guest on Fox News' Hannity, accused the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of preparing to deport a Saudi national "person of interest" in the bombings at the Boston marathon.
