BREAKING : Chris Dorner Cornered Shootout With Cops in Cabin
2/12/13 - Former-LAPD officer Chris Dorner is reportedly barricaded in a cabin in Big Bear after a shootout with authorities that wounded two officers. A fugitive ex-Los Angeles cop sought in three killings was barricaded in a cabin in the in the San Bernardino Mountains on Tuesday after a shootout with authorities that wounded two officers. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department says two law enforcement officers are being airlifted to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Deputies in the Big Bear area looking for Christopher Dorner responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the area about 12:20 p.m., the sheriff's office said. The people whose vehicle was stolen described the suspect as looking very similar to Dorner. The vehicle found and the suspect, believed to be Dorner, ran into the forest and barricaded himself inside a cabin. A short time later there was an exchange of gunfire between law enforcement and the suspect. It's not clear which agency the two agents wounded belong to, State Fish and Wildlife Assistant Chief Dan Sforza told KCAL. It's also believed Dorner committed a residential burglary of a cabin where a couple was tied up, an officer told The Associated Press. The officer requested anonymity because the officer was not authorized to speak publicly about the ongoing investigation. One of the people was able to get away and make a call. The area is in the Big Bear region where a search for Dorner has been under way since his pickup truck was found there Thursday. A KCAL-TV reporter in the Angelus Oaks area along Highway 38 reported gunfire in his vicinity. The noise of the gunbattle was broadcast by the station, whose reporter suddenly found himself near the fight. Someone could be heard yelling at the reporter to get out of the area. Road blocks were up around Big Bear.

In the first half, biblical prophecy expert Cris Putnam talked about the resignation of Pope Benedict in relation to St. Malachy's Prophecy of the Popes. In the 12th century, the Irish seer, St. Malachy, had a vision of who each Pope would be, and made a list of 112 names, ending with a final Pope named Petrus Romans (or Peter the Roman). Since the resigning Benedict is the 111th Pope, the next one could be the one Malachy prophesied about, saying he would deal with many tribulations, including the destruction of Rome. Whether or not the next Pope is actually named Peter may not be relevant because "every Pope has...a claim to the chair of St. Peter; just the fact that you get elected to be Pope kind of puts you as the Peter in charge at that time, so it could just be an oblique reference to an Italian Pope," he explained. Though, there are a few candidates high on the list who do have the name of Peter, he added.

"In the relatively near future, there's a good chance that technology will make things accelerate a great deal; that we'll develop medicines that will truly postpone ill health and old age and allow us to live in a true, youthful state far longer than we do today," he declared. Ultimately, the way to keep people healthy or restore their health will be arrived at through a complex set of therapies, including genetic and stem cell treatments, as well as conventional approaches such as vaccinations and pharmaceuticals, he detailed.
Treatments will have to be done periodically to maintain health, but de Grey foresees a time, possibly within the next 25 years, when there could be a genuine rejuvenation, repairing the accumulated damage of aging, and making someone biologically much younger than when they began the therapy. This will be a gradual revolution, he continued, with people initially undergoing surgeries to replace organs, until eventually such invasive approaches will be replaced by injections or oral administrations. Viewing these approaches as "preventative medicine," de Grey believes they'll eventually be made available to all, as there will be great savings from not having to treat the sick and elderly. "Despite the murders," Limbaugh noted, some (like Steve Roberts, whom he named) have insisted there's "intelligence...at work here, and there is racism in the LAPD...this guy's got historical sensibility." "Look, the fact that he's black is a factor here," Limbaugh asserted bluntly. "I'm sorry, but what else would explain this? What else would excusing this — or, if not excusing it, relegating the murder aspect of what the guy's doing to secondary status, and that the primary thing we must see is his intellect." He then went on to point to the New Yorker's Ryan Lizza noting during a TV appearance with Howard Kurtz that there's "a kernel of truth" to the criticism. "Sometimes the media does have a hair trigger when you find out a murder suspect does have ties to, say, the Tea Party or some radical right group," he said. "So I can understand why there's some sensitivity on the right to this." "The hypocrisy is the least of it," Limbaugh remarked. They simply don't see that they're ignoring Dorner's "left-wing ties" — even though Dorner "wants the approval of liberals!" A direct tie is simply being ignored, he continued. With that, he went on to hit Charlie Sheen for the message he sent to Dorner via TMZ (after Sheen saw that he was mentioned in Dorner's manifesto). Going past Sheen's publicity grab, Limbaugh added that, to some, he's fighting a race war. That's what makes him "an acclaimed hero to people."

Charlie has recorded a short message pleading with fugitive ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner to call him so he can give himself up. Dorner mentioned Charlie Sheen in his manifesto. This is Charlie Sheen. You mentioned me in your manifesto so thank you for your kind words." He goes on to say, "I am urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing," E! Entertainment reports that Sheen's video was not solicited or sanctioned by police. According to the celebrity news website, Sheen made the video on his own volition in hope of bringing an end to the deadly rampage. Sheen was one of many celebrities mentioned in Dorner's 20-page manifesto posted on Facebook last Wednesday. The 33-year-old Dorner called Sheen "awesome" in that document which laid out a long list of concerns, charges and threats against fellow LAPD officers who he blames for a 2008 termination. The search for Dorner, wanted in connection with the murders of three people, entered its fourth day on Sunday.Dorner -- who is accused of killing three people including a cop -- mentioned a number of celebs in his online "manifesto," and wrote about Sheen, "Charlie Sheen, you're effin awesome."LAPD wants this guy dead because now the shit hit the fan. Because he turned in his superior who was abusing a handicap. Then they report that it was a false statement. How convenient. Cops are just as much criminals as anyone on the street.
