The us gov has done some horrible things in terms of international policy and privacy/freedom of info. Should we place those same restrictions on the military, police, and bodyguards for elected representatives? The dictators started out taking the guns away from the people. When the government fears the people, you have liberty. When the people fear the government you have tyranny. Our second amendment protects our freedoms. Mass killing will keep happening as long as we live in a society that views live as disposable. We have people fighting for the right to kill babies still in the womb. The killing the innocent to benefit the irresponsible. We as a society need to change to stop this. The left blaming the right and so on does not help this. There is only one party in power. There are 2 names for it, but they are one.
Are you honestly trying to make the argument that a people with assault rifles can 'take' the US military, and as such the government fears the people?! When both sides had muskets, that argument made some sense. Now it's total and complete rubbish spewed out by NRA and other would-be baby-killers and everyone knows it.
ReplyDeletere evaluate your numbers they military would be massively outnumbered by licensed hunter alone and are also not required to follow any illegal orders and many would not!
DeleteDidn't the OKC bombing hapoen without guns??? Why can u still rent a uhaul, or buy fertilizer? People are gonna kill whether they have guns or not..... gun control is not the answer
ReplyDeleteTo the anonymous commenter previous to this message, I think you're commenting off of something other than this video or paragraph above. No one is talking about taking on the US Military or advocating killing babies - but rather the hypocrisy of our government doing just that. It seems that you're arguing that the second amendment is obsolete and should be canceled in favor of even more police state measures such as the NDAA. I'm no NRA or gun fan. But I hope you're not caught defenseless when someone accosts you with a gun. Gun bans don't eliminate gun violence. We already have lots of restrictions on guns. More won't help anything. Check out Chicago.
