France opens a Pandora box in Mali & faces a Potential Quagmire

France has been the center of tyranny for centuries including Korea, Vietnam, and all of the many Francophone countries of Africa. They have often pulled the US into the equation and then walked away themselves. We see the same steps being taken with Ivory Coast, Libya, and now Mali.France has a deeply cynical record for meddling in the affairs of its former African empire, thinking nothing of sending in its troops when it disapproves of the conduct of a particular regime.
