A Boeing 777 has caught on fire on the runway of San Francisco International Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration said Saturday afternoon. A plane operated by Asiana Airlines flying in from Seoul, South Korea burst into flames after its tail came off during landing, according to early reports. Eyewitnesses told the station that the plane was preparing to touch down when the equipment broke off. Flight tracking information indicates the flight was coming in from South Korea, and Air Traffic Control will not be accepting the flight at the gate due to the accident.
