Our governments are run by the interests of private companies, is it really a surprise that our eavesdropping overlords are profiteering from their power? The Carlyle Group has it's bloody hands in everything. Surprised ALEC and the Koch Bros. aren't in on this action.
Edward Snowden didn't actually work for the NSA, he worked for a contractor called Booz Allen Hamilton. How did it come to be that Snowden, working for a private company, was able to leak information about a top secret surveillance program?
